My first car had a Grateful Dead "Steal Your Face" logo (the skull with red/blue in the design) painted on the hood. Rather large. I got stopped a few times just on that (well, they used some BS excuse). I enjoyed watching the cops go, "Uh, um, ok, you can go." :D No sir, go ahead and test me. I don't do drugs. :D

Did you put the logo on the hood, or was it the previous owner?

I put it on. Well, I had an artist friend paint it. When I sold it to my brother, he added the "flames" (yes, quotes were intentional) and spoiler.

What was it Eastwood said in "Gran Torino," something about a "big gay spoiler?" :p You were asking for truble. I can just see Barney Fife wanting a piece of your a*s every time you rolled by.

They tried. Too bad we never broke the law. :D

And my bro knew it looked ridiculous; it's why he put it on. You can't read the side of the car, but it says "2.2 Corsica SS." There used to be a stretch in St Paul where classic cars/hot rods would just cruise for a couple blocks, hours on end, on the weekends. He brought that beast down there. The laughs he got....it was awesome.

In college I had a red Audi GT Coupe (sounds fancy but it was all of 5 cylinders for Horch's sake) with a small dancing bear, one steal your face and a, "Mankato State" sticker strategically cut to read, "Kato State Man" on the back window. Let's just say I was a cop's wet dream when driving 75 between Mankato and Shakopee or on campus at night. :)

As if any drive to or from Mankato was a speeder's nightmare to begin with (or so I've heard; namely Dubay).

Dip sh*t Montana high school principal "disinvites" Academy Award winning producer Gerald Molen (Schindler's List) from speaking at commencement because of the obligatory complaining 'phone calls. And because Molen is a "right wing conservative." To make matters worse, the principal didn't inform Molen 'till after he'd driven several hours and arrived on campus. Why is it so many liberals' first response to ideas they don't like is to keep them from being expressed (even though Molen typically talks to kids about the triumph of good and the power of redemption)?

Well of course, the contemptible Muslim a*shole "doctor" who murdered all those GI's at Fort Hood, shows up for his court martial wearing a beard. Why do these Muslim pr*cks always want to go native? Here's a newsflash "Doctor," the Army regs are pretty clear when it comes to grooming standards. You either shave that thing off or you'll watch the proceedings from another room. I think maybe somebody ought to show the "doctor" the proper technique for dry shaving in the field.

I literally have not seen one person on twitter/facebook/anywhere else on the internet (not even Bradley, I turned the fight off in the 11th because I thought it was a done deal) say that they thought it was the right decision. This has to be a fix, there's no other way around it. Pacquiao dominated and led 9-0 after nine on HBO and 8-1 on ESPN. I give credit to Pacquaio though, he really kept his composure, I would have been going ballistic.

Bob Arum (who promotes both fighters) said he had it Pacquiao 10 rounds to 2. Bradley's manager even told him he had it 8 to 4 for Pacquiao.

When the freaking PROMOTER is calling BS...

Apparently the betting line swerved sharply in favor of Bradley earlier this week as well. People *thought* it was because he was in better shape.

I didn't see where he was fired, just that he "will not be serving in this school district for the upcoming school year.” And that he "has accepted a position with a school in Clinton." If he has another job already, it kind of sounds like he was leaving anyway. Perhaps he took a leak in the well before leaving.

Could be a coincidence. I hope not. I took the superintendent's wording as bureaucratic ooze. This HS has fewer than 400 students. Now that the guy who has won an Oscar and a Golden Globe has been 86ed as graduation speaker, I wonder who they got instead. Maybe the pharmacist at the local Rexall. Or some guy who runs a feed lot.
