Re: Nice Planet 2010

I am so glad you can tell me what I was implying and that it was laden with so much of what is on your agenda. I didn't know. Throw all the pennies you want at me. If it keeps you busy that is a good thing.

Merry Christmas. I hope things get better for you, so much of what you see seems to sadden you or make you mad.

Merry Christmas to you as well. But please, please, stop that sh*t about how there has to be something wrong with me for disagreeing with you. It's insufferably condescending. And if you're really concerned about me misunderstanding you, I'd suggest you write with a little more clarity.

Many people who live in Sarasota/Bradenton refer to the latter as "Bradentucky." I've never fully grasped the concept of paying money to sit in a theatre and chatter, but it goes on all the time. It's not just that the young man is a Marine veteran, although that's important. It's that these punks (up to 100?) thought nothing of assaulting him and his wife. It would be poetic justice if the marine and some of his buddies went on a search and destroy mission in that neighborhood. Next time, somebody's gonna die.

I'm happy they escaped. I'm also not surprised that this happened in Florida. You see, California and Florida are two of the most EFFed up states in terms of education that receives very little news about how messed up it is. Heck, Louisiana is messed up but they can blame it all on Katrina.

I think this Marine should round up a bunch of Marine buddies and go back to the Theater and see if those idiots are still around, find out which movie they're going to see, and go see the movie. If nothing happens, they walk out and walk away. If they pull the same crap, talk to the manager and have them kicked out. If they wait outside to jump the Marines, *** whooping ensues and the parents can pick up their kids in the hospital.

Ok, maybe not but I do see a silver lining in this:

The manager did nothing when the altercation started. A lawsuit could come out of this... and the manager better start looking for a new job.

I think we've reached the bottom. What do you all think?

I think the explanation by the suspect's mom makes sense. Drug addicts will try anything to feed their addiction. I'm sure that moron thought that he could swipe that stuff and sell it for cash he could use to get high thinking that the swiped merchandise would hurt no one because they dude he swiped it from was already dead.

We always hear "Doing drugs is stupid," well... doing drugs makes you stupid too.

Sure, intellectually you're right. But this mook stole stuff from a boy's coffin, with the boy in it and his family in attendance. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around such depravity. On the other hand we hear about crack addicts pimping out their own children, so. . . . . . .

Richard Pryor used to do a hysterical routine about a minister presiding at a funeral. At one point he looks down at the departed and says: "If you think we're gonna bury you with all them diamonds and sh*t on, you've got another think coming."

http://www.dallasvoice.com/suit-hig...hes-texas-outed-lesbian-teen-mom-1057716.html

Two high school softball coaches in East Texas are accused of maliciously outing a sophomore player as a lesbian to her mother, then kicking her off the team.

And Kilgore Independent School District officials are accused of defending the coaches’ actions by arguing that they were “legally obligated” to disclose the girl’s sexual orientation to her parents.

After Fletcher and Newell finally let S.W. leave the locker room, they promptly phoned her mother and asked her to meet them at the field. When the mother arrived, the coaches told her that her daughter was a lesbian and gave her the phone number of the girlfriend.

When S.W.’s mother filed a complaint with the school district, officials responded by saying they were “legally obligated to share this information with the parent.”

“In other words, KISD’s policy mandates that teachers disclose students’ sexual orientation to their parents,” the suit states.

“Discrimination, bullying and the infliction of emotional trauma against students who are gay or believed to be gay is a nationally recognized problem,” the lawsuit states. “Defendants’ actions and policies exacerbate this problem and set a very harmful example to students, teachers, and parents in Kilgore ISD.”

According to the Kilgore News Herald, KISD Superintendent Jody Clements said the defendants don’t want to comment until they’ve had a chance to review the lawsuit.

“I haven’t seen any papers on it yet so I don’t have anything to say about it,” Clements told the News Herald on Monday, adding that the coaches also had not been served with the suit. “We feel confident that everything the district did was right.”

Do they call the parents when they find two straight kids making out to tell them about the kids' straight orientation?
