I really liked the two scoreboards. Also it’s only 15k for hockey- so a full 3k smaller than the X

given that flower shut them out, I didn’t get to hear the place roar. We were in club section which is lowest level seats and those sections are pretty cool. Detlaf Schrempf was in our section which was pretty funny

Canada Red appeared to be the best of the three, but you have to believe that the best from the three being on one team would likely be a better one.

They haven't faced any of the likely good Atlantic teams yet (TB, FLA, TOR), and the one they did (BOS) they were pretty dominated. They also lost to BUF 8-3.

They are going to have a rough second half of the season simply because it is a very back loaded schedule. Maybe they can take advantage off the start and hold on to the last playoff spot, but I don't know. The East is so good.

Just kidding. The Wings are fucking terrible still. Hopefully they can get something more than a bag of pucks for Bertuzzi, but even that seems a bit pricy.

I don't think they can use that as much of an excuse. They screwed up the goalie position, and they haven't migrated to younger players in certain spots. The Jost trade was terrible. They need centers and they bailed on one they had developed for a horrible forward.
 
Pretty irritated by the Wings letting Walman wear 96. I’d be fine if someone like Raymond wanted it, but shouldn’t give it to some random journeyman defenseman who isn’t going to be on the team very long.

Apparently his second one (first was 2014 and he missed 2 months). Apparently, he was born with a small hole in the wall of his heart. Whether that is related I do not know.
