Either they should come up with another name for that list ("Most Hated Pro Sports Personalities" would be simple enough), or they should remove non-athletes Al Davis and Jerry Jones.

Their mouths run a lot...

So, Bigger NFL busts. Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell?

Both were drafted early and hyped, both went flaiming out of the league, and now both of them are looking to have to go seek treatment for controlled substances.

Leaf. Leaf had SOME talent around him. And didn't have Al Davis.

True, Plus Leaf did have bit of a second life going on at West Texas A&M as the QB coach and the Golf Coach as well for the Buffaloes before getting busted for stealing perscription pain killers from the kids there.

Leaf. The only reason JR was drafted #1 was was because of one win against Notre Dame in a bowl game in New Orleans and because Al Davis is a lunatic. He should never have gone when he did.

Al Davis is a lunatic.

This would explain most of the last two decades of the Raiders.

Also because he was in the SEC and thus everything he did in college is magnified 12-fold due to awesome wins against The Citadel and Troy.

So, apparantly former Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson will be one of the oldest contestants ever on Survivor, as according to a CNN article he will be a contestant on this fall's Survivor: Nicaragua. Here's hoping that he gets stuck with a bunch of Giants fans in his tribe. :D

ESPN is doing a bit on Chris Johnson, and his record year last year.

Couple things cross my mind while watching this (and correct me if I'm wrong, since I'm just getting back into the NFL swing of things).

1. 240+ yards came on 3 runs (record for 80+ TD runs). Without those 3 runs, he doesn't break the record for total yards (IIRC).
2. He has breakaway speed; he hits that "5th gear" to use a cliche.

Given that he's an elusive back, not a pounder, would it be fair to say that teams play a more aggressive D to contain him, and if he breaks out of that initial wave of D-men, there's a LOT of open field, which obviously would help him due to his talents?

Say you press 9 of your 11 guys. You get through those 9. Boom, you have a whole field to beat 2 guys (who probably are not great tacklers, assuming they are CB's in some fashion), who are probably really close to the sidelines?

I'm not saying he's not talented, I'm just saying that he MAY be overrated as a big-time RB, as of right now.
