Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

The maps are back. What's up with that little section of Florida getting Redskins-Rams?

Is that Tampa/St.Pete? Probably don't want to (or can't) compete with the PIT/TB game on CBS at 1. I'd take the Jax game though...

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Ron Mexico will start against the Jaguars on Sunday....

Sorry Kevin, thanks for playing... We have some nice parting gifts for you backstage...

Oh that makes sense I suppose. I was thinking it might be one of those scenarios where they show an athlete from the area, but I couldn't think of anyone on either team who fit the bill.

No Revis Sunday night.

Ha ha

Pretty stiff penalty for Edwards' DUI. He's going to miss one whole play.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

You do realize that according to the collective bargaining agreement they actually can't suspend him right?

They can deactivate him. He said he wouldn't challenge it. If the player doesn't challenge then it's perfectly acceptable.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Very true, but do you think he'd challenge it, if they deactivated him more than a week?

We'll never know. After that presser where Rexy said he wanted to "clean up the culture" around the Jets and "send a message" he allows a drunk driver on the field. That's really cleaning up the culture. What message is he trying to send?

Just win and all will be forgotten?

Pretty much, like how everybody seems to have forgotten that the Patriots were cheating.

Or that Vick was involved in dog-fighting (not sure if anyone posted the "Top Dog" headline that ran in a Philly paper).

Or that Ray Lewis might have been involved in a murder.

Jury is still out on whether Big Ben will get the same kind of forgiveness.

well one thing to remember about Vick is he actually went to jail, served his time and fought his way back.
