Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Wow. ESPN now talking about the sparkle in Michael Vick's eye and comparing him to Magic Johnson leading his team up the floor.

One problem: Magic actually won something in his life. Well, unless holding on to beat the Lions counts as winning.

Vick beating Lions is better than him beating dogs. ;)

The dogs beat themselves. He just housed and funded it. Bad Newz. Talk about adversity to overcome. Sheesh. And to still have that sparkle in the eye after all that nonsense life put him through...you have to give it up to a guy like that.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

The false sense of security the Lions instilled in the Eagles is the best gift of them all. When Vick goes on to fail ruthlessly from here on out, it'll be the Lions that helped inspire his fiery crash back to earth by raising his hopes for the last time.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

My fantasy team rolled again. :)

Brent: told you that even if Arian Nation didn't have a stella game, I'd get my points from the offense. Andre Johnson, FTW.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Already sealed wins in 2 of my leagues and lost in my 3rd. I'm 2-0 in the first 2 and 0-2 in the latter. I'd like to thank DeSean Jackson, Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub and Kevin Walter for their awesomeness.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

I just took the lead in one of my leagues because Drew Brees completed a pass to himself...hopefully he and vernon davis don't turn it over the rest of the game.

If my calculations are correct, I am alone at the top of our division at 2-0. 4 others are 1-1, and one team is at 0-2. And I face a team in week 3 that I have an .800+ winning percentage against in the last 6 years (play him twice a year guaranteed, division rival).:D

I like my chances.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Its hard to believe Davis didn't get a 2pt conversion on that...

EDIT: looks like it should be be a tie game

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Are Jaws and Gruden listening to the offensive coordinator? They're dead on with these plays.

How do they not have a camera on the goal line?

There's the view... Conversion good.

Did they give Brees too much time? :p

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

You could say that.

The Saints had no business winning this game. They couldn't make one single play defensively when it mattered.

The Saints may be one of the weakest 2-0 teams in the nation.
Uhm, yeah those red zone turnovers aren't making a play when it matters?

Some of that (the tip drill INTs) play into it, but at the end of the day, the SF special teams killed them, and they also didn't make a play when it mattered.
