Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

2-0 in my Money Fantasy League.

Won by 18 this week, thank you Roman Harper for allowing me to rest easy. A DB putting up 12 points is always nice.

2nd week in a row one of my WRs has put up 35+

And thanks to my opponent for sitting McCoy and his 42.8 points. :)

I'm seeing this secondhand, but evidently there was a Vikings player on the radio saying he just got a text saying they traded for Vincent Jackson.

And, since we know how reliable Vikings text message reports have been in the past, I can only conclude it's true.

PFT reports there's no deal as of yet.

One of the sources on his player page on Yahoo Fantasy Sports reports that Jackson would have to serve a six game suspension, rather than four, if he were to be traded; is that true? If so, why?

Per ESPN:
Under a settlement reached Thursday, Jackson has to sit out the first four games of the season under suspension -- instead of six -- if he is traded by the Chargers to a new team by 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The false sense of security the Lions instilled in the Eagles is the best gift of them all. When Vick goes on to fail ruthlessly from here on out, it'll be the Lions that helped inspire his fiery crash back to earth by raising his hopes for the last time.

You got your wish. Vick got named the starting QB today.
