Aren't you just making matters worse by linking to said awful columns? Now people will read them and then his boss will think he is doing a good job and won't fire him. :(

That article was horrible. I want the last 3 minutes of my life back. Im sure Reilly hears that quite often, and not from this 2nd grade level writing skills.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Another 2-1 fantasy week for me, though the loss is in the league where I needed a win the most. (Though I was already going to the playoffs in all three leagues before this week, so I guess I can't complain too much.)

League 1: Won 163.8 - (47.0 + Mark Sanchez). Will go to 10-3 and lock up one of two first-round byes. My MVP: Sidney Rice (22.5), for his first big game since coming back from injury. Honorable mentions to Michael Vick (33.9) and Greg Jennings (24.2). Should have played: Anquan Boldin (17.8) instead of Mike Tolbert (6.3), but it's hardly significant at this point.

League 2: Won 94.6 - 93.2. My 10-2 team goes to 11-2, and the win was over the second-place team, who now goes to 8-5. One more week left in the regular season but I've already got the top seed wrapped up; whether that's a good thing depends on whether one of the two crappy teams somehow at 7-5 winds up finishing fourth, or whether it's the other 7-5 team or one of the two 6-6 teams, both of which are better than the crappy 7-5 teams. My MVP: Vick (32.9), who scored over a third of my points this week. Honorable mention to Antonio Gates (13.3), putting up big numbers again despite playing through a lot of pain. Should have played: Rice (22.5) or Terrell Owens (10.7) instead of Brandon Lloyd (3.1); Rice or Owens or Mike Goodson (7.9) instead of Rashard Mendenhall (6.3).

League 3: Lost (110.6 + Mark Sanchez) - 100.2. Will go to 7-6, but have already clinched a spot in the "everybody gets a trophy!" playoffs (8 teams out of 12 qualify). My MVP: Steven Jackson (24.0); honorable mention to Baltimore Defense (19.0). FU to Eli Manning (5.1), Brandon Lloyd (4.1), Chris Johnson (7.7). Should have played: David Garrard (12.2) instead of Manning, Mike Wallace (10.1) instead of Lloyd, Jahvid Best (10.2) instead of Johnson.

A friend of mine described tonight's game as "Armageddonbowl", which I thought to be quite apt given that everyone who isn't a Jets or Pats fan would love it if a meteor hit the stadium.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

If I had not incorrectly flip-flopped Vick/Sanchez the two weekends before this weekend I'd be in 1st place by 1 game, but now find myself in a tie for 2nd with 3 other teams behind two teams by 1 game. Fortunately Vick, McCoy and AP nearly single-handedly won this week for me and if I win next week I should make the top 4 (out of 10) and the playoffs due to the TP tie-breaker. I need Vick, McCoy, AP, Hillis and my hodge-podge WR set to come up big next weekend.

So, the Broncos were expected to suck this year (since they are kind of rebuilding), and two of their future stars have been hurt for much of the season (D Thomas and Knowshon), and they did suck this year, so fire the coach? I guess it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Stupid ESPN audio only working for commercials is stupid.

I guess Ryan has decided playing field position doesn't work against Brady. Which is probably true, but still.

How many years do they get to rebuild? They weren't great last year either.

Although to be fair to McDaniels, it wasn't his call to trade Cutler I suppose.

Knowshon/Thomas are rookies. I expect(ed) McDaniels to get 2-3 years, with improvement each year.

Yeah, I can see that. However, after starting 6-0 last year, he's gone 5-16. I'd argue that's not improvement, that's going in the wrong direction.

I was kinda hoping these people were in charge in B-Lo so they can get rid of that awful coach that is on the sidelines for the Bills.
