I hope Suh learned his lesson. Next time, grab him from behind and piledrive him into the turf so it doesn't look as "painful" to an idiot ref like Hochuli.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Why did I think you were in MN? I gotta pay more attention. OK, I see your complaint now.
I think they moved to SD a few years ago when he got done with law school.
Suh got fined $15K for hitting Jay Cutler too hard.

Suh fined $15K for playing two-hand touch with Cutler.

ETA: Whoa, simulpost.

that's a horse**** fine - Cutler was clearly a runner at that point, had not slid, and Suh didn't touch his head.
Can we just have QB's wear their skirts (red practice jerseys) and be done with it? They're either football players or they're not...

Yep. its like the Lions are the dog that the NFL office kicks just to feel better about themselves.:mad:

Colts lead Tennessee 14-0 midway through the second quarter. I don't think Moss has played a snap yet.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Go Blair White!

FFL: (I'm team B).

A is in 2nd.
B is in 3rd.
C is in 4th.

One team will make the playoffs. C plays A this week.

A wins, he's in. If B wins/A loses, B's in. If B loses/C wins, C is in.

Wow, the Titans are not good.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Alright, now if Johnson could have a second half exactly the same as the first, that would be great. :)

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

I'm pretty sure no one on Earth expresses more opinions than Joe Theismann.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Titans needed to think about not punting the ball back to the Colts on 4th and 1 down 6 points with a few minutes left.

But 33.9 fantasy points for Johnson gets my playoff game off to a great start. :)

I don't have a huge issue with the call on the field. In real time it looked worse than it was, especially from Hochuli's viewpoint.

But the fine after the fact, with the benefit of replay, is absurd.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Looks like the Chargers are moving to LA for 2012, one season at the Coliseum and then to a brand new downtown stadium.

http://blogs.laweekly.com/informer/2010/12/los_angeles_chargers_2012.php

This is like someone treating you like crap, being angry about you not doing enough for them, and then demanding your last bit of sanity before taking a hike. The ownership group refuses to pony enough of their own money to build a new stadium. Maybe the Chargers can snag the Bills afterward.

So who is the frontrunner for the Bills? :D Toronto, San Antonio, Orlando, Oklahoma City, Portland?

The Giants plane was rerouted to Kansas City, where they are stuck during a blizzard more than 400 miles from Minneapolis. Internet rumblings are suggesting that perhaps the game could be delayed, though nothing official from the NFL yet.

400 miles? Why not just bus them in?
