I feel this song appropriate especially considering the passing of Dandy Don.

Obvious Gruden is Obvious: "No one's ever swept the Patriots twice in the same season."

Really? That's amazing!

Knowshon/Thomas are rookies. I expect(ed) McDaniels to get 2-3 years, with improvement each year.

the cheating thing was the x-factor.. he got caught twice now, will probably never get hired again

That's about the only justifiable reason I can see. Now, I don't believe he didn't watch the tape, but if you take him for his word...that's dicey. Either way, I think you're right, he's probably black-balled now.

It's too bad that Pats fans (and the Pats, for that matter) are just as obnoxious as Jets fans (and the Jets, for that matter), so everyone else can't really enjoy this.

Yep. I wish a beatdown every week on Rex Ryan. Too bad the Pats had to do it. Smug mother*ers.

I like to ruin everyone's enjoyment the way college hockey has been ruined for me every year since 2001.

Looks like the Chargers are moving to LA for 2012, one season at the Coliseum and then to a brand new downtown stadium.

This is like someone treating you like crap, being angry about you not doing enough for them, and then demanding your last bit of sanity before taking a hike. The ownership group refuses to pony enough of their own money to build a new stadium. Maybe the Chargers can snag the Bills afterward.

Is this really going to affect you following them? It's practically next door to where they are now, both cities being way the hell away from where you live, and you already like another LA football team...

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Hell, for the first season they'll be in the EXACT SAME STADIUM as your other team.

Eh? I live like 15 minutes away from Qualcomm now.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Week 14 maps are out.

I wonder why the League scheduled both NE/Chicago and Miami/Jets at 4:15. Now CBS only has three early games and they're iffy: CLE/BUF, OAK/JAC, CIN/PIT. Wouldn't it make more sense to bump OAK/JAC to 4:15 and start one of the other games early?

EDIT: Should've done my homework before posting. Apparently the NE game was going to be at 1:00, but CBS chose to move it. And since the NYGs are playing at 1:00, CBS wants the NYJs late. Still not sure why you don't leave NE at 1:00. Oh well.

Unimportant fantasy question:

(Unimportant in the sense that this is the last regular season game in this league, but I've already locked up the top seed in the playoffs.)

This league is 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR flex. Mendenhall vs. the Bengals is lock for RB. Who are my two WRs? Calvin Johnson vs. Green Bay, Brandon Lloyd @ Arizona, TO @ Pittsburgh, Sidney Rice vs. the Giants, Harvin vs. the Giants? (I'm leaning toward Johnson and Rice, though Yahoo's projected points say Lloyd and TO.) And then, in my flex slot, do I go with a third WR, or Jamaal Charles @ San Diego, or Chris Ivory vs. St. Louis?

Suh got fined $15K for hitting Jay Cutler too hard.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Suh fined $15K for playing two-hand touch with Cutler.

ETA: Whoa, simulpost.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

that's a horse**** fine - Cutler was clearly a runner at that point, had not slid, and Suh didn't touch his head.
