I don't think Matt Leinart would have fixed that trainwreck.

I don't think so either, but we could've at least seen if he was worth the pick instead of cutting him loose and relying on Max Hall and Derek Anderson.

3rd place in points scored + 2nd in 'points allowed' = 8th place out of 12 with top 6 making playoffs :(

I play the 3rd place team needing a win and a loss by teams 6 or 7 to make it.

I didn't see the smirk/smile/laughing or whatever, but the reporter DID alter the question to "what was the context;" I mean, did Deuce break the tension, did he make a joke, etc. Usually I'm on the side of the athletes/coaches when it comes to reporters' questions, but I don't think the reporter was really out of line in this case.

yeah, he did alter it slightly but he was still gunning for the same result.. had anderson repeated the exchange between him and the teammate, he would have presumably been placed under the scrutiny of 'how funny was that' or 'was it funny enough to laugh given the score'

i did catch the smirk on sportscenter.. its nothing much, two guys sitting on the bench.. the guy in the helmet is saying something with a huge grin on his face.. anderson smirks and looks away. i wouldnt want to see my football laughing and joking on the sidelines when they were losing, but i would hardly call what transpired anything close to that. It seemed like he was trying to cheer anderson up, if anything.

I heard this take on the radio...what are the odds that Anderson even remembers that little smirk when he's sitting at a press conference? It was seconds long at most. At the time of the press conference he was probably in the mindset of thinking/talking about the game and the stupid joke that his lineman told is no where near his consciousness.

Now that I would buy. Players are always cracking jokes, and odds are that it could have already heard before.

Was just going to come in here and ask if Favre is hurt of it was a coaching decision?

Farve got lit up on the first offensive play. Sounds like it's his shoulder & he's probably done.

The Vikings with a successful challenge!

Thank you Buffalo Bills for being the Buffalo Bills. :)

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Thia CLE-MIA game is very dull. The Giants-Skins game looks a teeny but more entertaining. Maybe I should just put my tree up or something.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

Dear NFL,

In regards to knocking out Brett Favre. You're Welcome!

Signed,
The Buffalo Bills

P.S. Give us Andrew Luck and we'll call it even.

The NFL is set to rule on the Favre-Sterger thing this week. The severity of that shoulder injury he picked up today may vary depending on the ruling.
