Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines
And Eli Manning is the Vikings MVP thusfar.

But it is nice to see that dx found his way to Detroit tonight.People of Detroit:
Not all Minnesotans think the wave is cool.
Suspended for the rest of the year (including any playoff games) AND fined 25k. Players take cheap shots and get fined a similar amount without getting suspended...but they make millions a year. This guy is loosing a good amount of his salary. I say either the fine or the suspension. But both seems a bit excessive and to me doesnt really make sense. But it is the NFL we are talking about here.
Here’s the scene: Grey Cup Game, Varsity Stadium, Toronto, Nov. 30, 1957. Ray “Bibbles” Bawel, a Hamilton Ticat defensive back, has just picked off his second pass of the game and is headed down the sidelines with a clear path to the end zone. David Humphrey, a spectator standing on the sidelines near the Winnipeg Blue Bomber bench, sticks his foot out and trips Bawel, preventing the touchdown, though the Ticats won the game easily, 32-7.
Humphrey was then a Toronto lawyer and became a judge in the Ontario court, general division.
This is BelliCheat's fault somehow and not the Jest for sucking spectacularly two games in a row.
All this time I thought it was the Lions who were crappy. But the Vikings are showing its really just any team that's designated the home team playing in Detroit.
Just another example of how the NFL is soooo far behind the CFL.
Back in the day, His Honor Judge Humphrey was my attorney when I was wrongly accused of assaulting a prisoner in my custody.
I can't find the specific story, but I'm nearly positive college football has them both beat. I had a book of "wacky sports stories" or something when I was a kid I swear I remember reading something about it.
Yes.Can the Giants just put this one out of reach so we can see what Webb's got?
