Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

So, supposedly tonight's Vikings game is "sold out".... Apparently people were walking up this morning, getting 20 tickets, then turning around and trying to scalp them for $40-50... Gonna love seeing fewer people than a Pistons game there...

What were the odds he would end his streak a) playing for the Vikings b) in a home game and c) in Detroit?

Favre Looks to Cash In on Streak

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre's 297-game consecutive starts streak officially ended when his name appeared on the Vikings' inactive list.

Moments later, BrettFavre.com began selling a "Brett Favre Signed and inscribed 297 Starts Football", which can be yours for $499.99.

"One of the most historic streaks ever in all of sports has come to an end. The NFL's own Ironman Brett Favre has ended his consecutive starting game streak at 297. Chances are if your under 40 you don't remember a time in the NFL with out Brett Favre playing on Sunday. This is a monumental feat especially at the quarterback position. Just consider since 1992 the Chicago Bears have watched over 20 QB's start for their team; and the average career length in the NFL is less than four years."

Footballs will begin shipping in 30 days.

Aaaaand, Kevin Boss has already outproduced Brent Celek.

Awww, they have the stupid viking horn at Ford Field, that's so cute!

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

That would be bad news if Jackson and Peterson have to go out after banging knees.

Re: NFL 2010: $25K Fine For Talking About Fines

I just looked up some superbowl odds online, to prepare for my trip to Vegas, trying to decide if I want to make any bets. As of now, the Vikings are still 25-1 to win the superbowl, while the division leading Bears are 35-1. Sometimes these things just make no sense to me. :p

should have listened to me back in august when i took ATL!!!! (40-1)
