Well, that whole FFL trade I was wondering about? He shoved a little more, and I (sorta wink wink) gave in.

TD based league:

I got Fitzgerald and Felix Jones and he got Addai and Brandon Marshall.

I'm more sad about Addai than Marshall, believe it or not, and I was fearful that Fitz would go off this weekend, making a trade moot or darn near impossible. I felt I had to strike while he was in panic mode. And of course, he is not in my division, so there is only one game for sure I play him. The only other time I would play him would be in the title game.

He probably got a little more value, but IMO the rest of his team is so bad (his best RB currently is Beanie Wells, and I just took his best receiver) that it shouldn't matter. I improved my team. That's what counts.:)

Fitzgerald had a bye this week...You still got a pretty good deal.

Generally across most trades, whoever got the best player gets the best of the deal. You got an elite receiver in Fitzgerald. As long as you've got other good RB's, you did very well.

Yup. Marshall was my ultimate limit in what I gave up in addition to Addai. I was counting that he wouldn't find that out. Oh well.

Edit: Hammer: I have Mendenhall, K Smith, Slaton, and L McCoy (PHI).

Edwards to the Jets:
Browns get Stucky, Trusnick, and picks for Edwards

Details are emerging regarding the consideration the Browns have received for receiver Braylon Edwards from the Jets.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN and Jay Glazer of FOX, the Browns get linebacker Jason Trusnick and draft picks.

Glazer reports that receiver Chansi Stucky is also part of the deal.

UPDATE: Glazer reports there are two draft picks; Schefter says they're believed to be a third-round pick and a fifth-round pick.

Braylon Edwards traded to the Jets. Crazy.

Edwards also under investigation for allegedly hitting someone.

That's a pretty good move for the Jets, as Edwards could be really good.

It turns out that a member of Edwards entourage was the one who did the punching.

That's the story for why the Jets were willing to trade for him because now they don't have to worry about a suspension.

We'll take that for its worth.
