1. Danny Trejo rules.
2. Danny Trejo rules.
3. It's so over the top that movies like From Dusk Till Dawn and Desperado look like G-rated movies.
4. Alba and Rodriguez are incredibly hot in this. And Rodriguez is still hot with an eyepatch. Making a girl with an eyepatch hot is tough to do. ;)
5. Did I mention Danny Trejo?
6. In the first 5 minutes, before the opening credits, you have a double digit body count, gratuitous nudity, lots of action, and bad dialogue.
You forgot the Cellphone from the First Five Minutes!;)
She was in Lost?

She's hot if you have any sort of testosterone.
**** straight, lots of eye candy in this movie, and they're not bashfull about it. Hell, one of the nurses even said that she could feel eyeballs on her uterus.

A mugshot. No one looks good in a friggin' mugshot. Try again. :p

And considering I have only seen her in this movie, and she's hot in this movie, I consider her hot.

I am not a fan of Michelle Rodriguez's acting ability or the general mess she seems to be at times, but I am a fan of how she looks.

And I'll be the first to admit:

1. Machete does not have great acting, as in Oscar worthy.
2. However, to act that badly and sell it? It takes a special talent. See: Christina Appelgate, "Married With Children." Or the Grindhouse movie from which Machete was spawned.

Re: New/Rented Movies: Now In Smell-O-Rama!

Totally stupid. He could've done both easily. Hell, he barely did ANYTHING in Machete.

Trejo scoffs at Seagal. He has done at least for films a year since the 90's. He did nine of them in 2002. Just goes to show you, if you sign on to absolutely anything that come across your desk, you will eventually be awesome.

Of course, it helps to be a complete BAMF in 95% of them.

Seagal has done a few movies recently, its just most of them were all direct to video deals. First one that he's been in that has been in theaters in a long time.

Re: New/Rented Movies: Now In Smell-O-Rama!

I've often stopped by this thread to look for new ideas and often come away with movies to see that I've never even heard of. :) That said, I recently just completed watching Ken Burns' National Parks epic that aired on PBS last fall (all hail the DVR!). I thought it was tremendous and, having never been to a national park (there are some in neighboring MN/MI, but the closest we have in WI are nat'l forests and a nat'l lakeshore), has definitely inspired to me to visit some soon.

Now I have a question for any Netflixers (Netflickers?) out there. I do not at present have Netflix, but what I do have is an Excel spreadsheet of 300+ movies that I currently want to see (probably mostly terrible according to the film critics in this thread). I've long been on the fence about getting Netflix but they finally made it possible to stream via the Wii (ba dum dum), so now I'm thinking about it more. If I were to sign up, would there be a quick and easy way to add all of these movies to a queue? I don't think I'd enjoy adding them one by one. I'd email Netflix but apparently they don't have email support and I hate calling companies for any reason. Any thoughts? Or should I just stick to my occasional Redbox habit?

You can go online and add all the movies to your queue and they'll show up on the Wii. BUT they will send you the DVD of whatever is your first selection.
