Re: New/Rented movies: Here comes the movie to change all movies

So you're debating the realities of a marginal 'sci-fi-ish' movie and what it would take for a realistic sequal? This forum needs a 'rotf' smiley.

Aww gee whiz...sorry to interrupt your discussion of the latest French movie you watched. Please carry on...

BTW what is a sequal? :p

Re: New/Rented movies: Here comes the movie to change all movies

Don't be so sensitive - if the roles were reversed I'd expect a smartazz comment all the same. :D

That is why I made one...DUH :D

I mean seriously how relaistic can a French movie be...I mean they usually never surrender at all! ;)

Re: New/Rented movies: Here comes the movie to change all movies

So, they're going to make a sequel to The Hangover.

I think I've already been let down and the movie hasn't started filming yet.

Re: New/Rented movies: Here comes the movie to change all movies

Eurotrip is one of my favorite "feel good" movies ("The Hangover" might top it now though)...It's totally ridiculous and hilarious.
Cooper: What's the etiquette on boners? Do I role over and dig out a hole for it, or is it cool to just let my flag fly?

Watched Mallrats and the Breakfast Club today on Encore.

Saw BC while waiting for South Park.

Have "Inglorious Basterds" and "Boondock Saints 2" on their way. I know what I'm doing on Saturday. :D

Clerks 2

Is that one of those movies that you have to watch the first one to understand the 2nd one? Because I didn't get it. But then again, I only watched half of it before it stopped working.

Sorta. Lots of injokes, like "Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back." Although "JASBSB" is built on injokes, while Clerks 2 relies on the backstory for many of the jokes.

Hmm ok well thanks. I've never seen "Jay and Silent Bob" before either.

Phase One: Watch all the Kevin Smith movies (except Jersey Girl) in order.
Phase Two:
Phase Three: Laugh.

I have a different Phase One... Find out what all these movies are and what order they go in. And then I can start that list. :)

I really enjoyed "Inglorious Basterds". Watched it over Christmas break and saw it again this past weekend with tcbg. It's pretty awesome.

Curious on your opinion of Boondock Saints 2, haven't seen it (though I do own, but haven't seen, the original).

Wait, you haven't seen the original?

I loved the original (although Willem Dafoe absolutely OWNED the movie, IMO).
