there's nothing about it on their website...they did most games last year, but don't think they are doing them this year.

It looks like unless SNC crashes and burns (losing 2 to CSS and 2 to Adrian the following week OR LF loses a bunch of games to Marian and Finlandia), that CSS will finish 9th and out of the playoff after today's loss.

y-RF 13-0-3 (29) Can finish no worst then 2nd.
x-Sup 9-3-6 (24) A win or CW loss or a combination of two ties and UWS will host a quarterfinal series.
x-Adrian 10-3-3 (23) The only team that could dethrone RF. Has magic number of 5 to host quarterfinal series.
x-EC 9-4-3 (21) Currently holds last home spot in opening round. Needs UWSP and CW to beat up on each other final weekend and to take care of their business.
x-CW 9-6-3 (21) Has impressed this season but will need to sweep SP Feb. 18-19 and get help to host quarterfinal series.
x-SP 9-6-1 (19) Could still finish as high as second but would be happy just to secure home ice in quarterfinals. Needs to play well vs. Sup and CW.
SN 6-7-3 (15) Can clinch playoff spot vs. CSS next weekend. All but guaranteed to travel in playoffs.
LF 5-8-3 (13) Continues to struggle. Luckily for them they finish season with Marian and Finlandia. Should make post-season.
CSS 5-10-1 (11) Sitting on the outside looking in. They need at worst a win and a tie vs. SN next weekend.
Mar 0-14 (0) Could play spoiler for LF
Fina 0-14 (0) Could play spoiler for LF

Well the only team standing in the way of River Falls and an undefeated season....barring something spectacular against Finlandia and Marian is St Thomas on Tuesday.

River Falls looked pretty good, but Superior proved they can play with them and I think would have a decent shot of beating them.

I'd say with todays loss, CSS has taken themselves out of the playoff hunt. Lake Forest's last 4 are against Marian and Finlandia who they really should beat. But with one of the biggest collapses I can remember in a long time, a loss there might not be out of the question. CSS would have to sweep St Norbert and Have Norbert's get swept by Adrian in order to knock SNC out of the playoffs and I don't forsee both of those things happening.

The only things that are for certain

River Falls wins the NCHA and gets home ice throughout(1 win against Marian/Finlandia guarantees this)
Marian and Finlandia will not make the playoffs.

Standings after todays games
1. River Falls 29
2. Superior 24
3. Adrian 23
4. Eau Claire 21
4. Concordia 21
6. Stevens Point 19
7. St Norbert 15
8. Lake Forest 13
9. CSS 11
10/11 Marian/Finlandia 0

If stevens point were to sweep Superior next week, Superior could finish as low as 4th. Best Case scenario for Sup is that Adrian splits with Eau Claire and St Norbert

My guess is that the final standings will look something like this
1. River Falls 37 points
2. Adrian 29 points
3. Superior 28
4. Eau Claire 27
5. Stevens Point 23
6. Concordia 21
7. Lake Forest 21(not sure on the tie breaker here)
8. SNC 19
9. CSS 11
10. Finlandia 4
11. Marian 0

I'd be absolutely shocked if it ended this way, but what the hell right. I got Adrian/Eau Claire splitting

I'd say one other thing is for certain. This is going to be one hell of an NCHA playoff. Every team in the top 5 has shown they can hang with number 1. CUW got beat handily but that was the 2nd week of the season, and they are a completely different team now, as shown by their performance against UWS last weekend.

For the most part, I think (on their best day), any of the top 8-9 teams can play with any team in the league. What has really struck me this year is the inconsistency with some of the teams. For example: what the HECK happened to Lake Forest??? How do you go from winning conference to potentially barely making the playoffs? They only have 35 goals for and 44 goals against! I know people keep saying how bad their defense is but where's their offense? Was Herring just a flash in the pan last year? I didn't think they graduated much although I'd have to look and do my research before I say that. CUW's results have definitely impressed me although it's a shame that most of their top players are their seniors. Hopefully the coach can rebuild and find some solid freshmen for next year. UWS......very good. Tough weekend against CUW, may have taken them lightly, may not have, but UWS will give River Falls a run for it's money if they meet again. UWSP is the wild card in all of this, I think. They are a tough team when they want to play hard and very much have a 'never say die' attitude. Regardless, I think the quarterfinals are going to be very exciting and I would actually like to see Scholastica make it their first year. They've plugged away, worked hard, and could surprise a lot of people. With the way LF is playing, they could absolutely lose to Marian or Finlandia and not make playoffs. (Can't imagine much else will embarrass them after such a disappointing season.) Good luck to all the teams in the next few weeks!

Surprised there is no banter about the Packers winning the Super Bowl. Usually, the Cheese Heads can't resist bragging anywhere, and everywhere, they can.

Let me be the 1st to congratulate the Packer Nation on a hard-earned and well-deserved victory.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go throw up!

Would I be correct in assuming that Stevens Point has no live stats, webcast for this weekends games? And if so, will anyone be updating?
