With a win or tie today by Concordia today:). UWSP will lock up 8th place

Its crazy to think that anything is possible with 1 period to go in the CSS/UWEC game.

If CSS comes back to win or tie:
CUW would get 4th, SNC(with a win over Adrian) would finish 5th, Eau Claire 6th, Lake Forest would finish 7th(with 4pts over Finlandia) and Stevens Point would be in 8th.

If Eau Claire hangs on to win and SNC wins:
UWEC finishes 4th, CUW finishes 5th, SNC 6th, Lake Forest 7, Stevens Point 8

EC wins, SNC loses or ties

UWEC 4th, CUW 5th, Stevens Point 6th, SNC 7th, Lake Forest 8

Congratulations to coach Joe Cranston and the Lady Falcons on their undefeated regular season. It is an impressive accomplishment. Correct me if I am wrong, but I belive it is the 1st time it has been done in the NCHA Women's league.

I believe they are only the 2nd team in all of D3 to go undefeated through the regular season. Plattsburgh did it a few years back and went on to win the NCAA title undefeated. Here's to River Falls doin the same thing, but with a loss to Superior in the O'Brien finals...and maybe in the national title game :P
