Re: NCHA 10-11.....**** You St. Norbert

Jackets, No response?

You got lucky - UWSP got the muskie hooks out of their pockets and will have live stats for both games this weekend. Click on the link below, then click on the Feb 11 date on the calendar and there is a link for live stats below (same for the 12th). I may attend the game on Saturday, but will not post live updates. If I make the game, I'll post a game report - probably on Sunday.

Go Pointers!

Well I didn't know what your Nope referred to. Nope--I wasn't right or Nope--they have no live stats. After you said Nope..I went to the UWSP website and saw the links :)

I meant Nope - no one would be posting updates.

Sorry I forgot to paste the link, but it looks like you got where you needed to go. Should be a couple of exciting games - as usual.

Re: NCHA 10-11.....**** You St. Norbert

I am looking for updates or live stats for CSS vs SNC. Does anyone know of any?

Re: NCHA 10-11.....**** You St. Norbert

Thanks 24. Is there live stats somewhere?

END of the second... SNC 2 CSS 0. SOG SNC 20 CSS 17. Good clean, fast paced game. One penalty for each team...

There are no live stats. You can follow on twitter at SNCWomenshockey.

Re: NCHA 10-11.....**** You St. Norbert

Is UWS trying to set a record for number of ties in a season:confused: Currently at seven:D

Re: NCHA 10-11.....**** You St. Norbert

Well this weekends results have straightened some stuff out.

1. River Falls 31 (clinches NCHA regular season title)
2. Adrian 27 (Even with 2 losses next weekend, they hold tie breaker over Superior
3. Superior 27 (loses tie breaker to Adrian, neither CUW or Eau Claire can catch up)

Now things get shaky..my predictions

4. Eau Claire 21 (a sweep of CSS will give them 25 points and they hold tie breaker over CUW. I think even with a split next weekend, they still finish 4th
5. CUW 21 (a win or two ties with UWSP guarantees this, would need to sweep UWSP and have Eau Claire lose to take over 4th.)

Now things get really crazy
6. Stevens Point 20( would need CSS to sweep Eau Claire and to take 3 points from CUW to finish 4th. Could finish 5th with with 3 points from CUW. Holds tie breakers over SNC and LFC.)
7. SNC 19 ( A split with Adrian will give SNC 7th over LFC, anything else and LFC takes it. They split head to head. The 2nd tie breaker is NCHA wins. A split gives SNC 9, LFC should have 9, two ties would only give SNC 8 wins. 3rd tie breaker is goal differential in games between tied teams, LF beat SNC 3-2, while SNC beat LFC 3-1, advantage SNC.
8. Lake Forest 15 (should close out season with 3 wins which would give them 21 points, could easily finish 7th if SNC doesn't split with Adrian.)

Mathematically out of it
9. CSS (only team they can catch is LFC if they lose out, but LFC holds tie breaker)
10. Finlandia
11. Marian

I think that SNC will split with Adrian at home next weekend. 4-8 are really still pretty up in the air. Eau Claire can finish anywhere from 4th-7th(SNC currently holds tie breaker over Eau Claire--4th tie breaker goal differential in all NCHA games), CUW could actually finish anywhere from 4-8 depending on how much LFC were to beat Finlandia and Marian by, Stevens Point could finish anywhere from 4th-8th. St Norbert could finish 5th-8th. LFC can't do better than 7th.

If it finishes out the way I see above first round would be

8. LFC @ 1 RF
7. SNC @ 2 Adrian
6. Stevens Point @ #3 UWS (again)
#5 CUW @ #4 Eau Claire

Craziest Scenario
#8 CUW @ #1 RF
#7 LFC @ #2 Adrian
#6 Eau Claire @ #3 Superior
#5 SNC @ #4 Stevens Point

ya i'm that bored lol

Whoever draws SNC does not have a free pass through the quarterfinals by any means. They are solid defensively and in net, I think they could shock anyone.

I don't think anyone has a free pass, with the exception maybe of whoever draws LFC, unless they figure out their offense troubles. Eau Claire can beat about anyone, CUW has shown they can play with most teams, etc.
