NCAA Tournament Selection and Seeding

Aha, an egomaniac then. Well I will respond one last time only to say you must be disappointed that you really haven’t proven anyone wrong and were, in fact, “out facted” re Frost vs Muzz.

OSU couldn't even outscore UMn this year. UMn scored 16 goals against OSU while OSU could only muster 14 against the Gophers.

Frost's 2012-2016 teams, ALL 5 of them, rank among the Top 12 seasons of ALL-TIME according to the Massey ratings, 2013, is #1, of course, their 2nd place finish in 2014 is actually ranked #3, the 2016 season is ranked #7 all-time, the 2012 season is ranked #9, and the 2015 season is ranked #12.

Frost is the only coach in history to coach a PERFECT season, garner all 3 of the Top 3 candidates for POY, along with winning COY. That is perfection. Sorry some of you losers falsely think it's easy to create perfection and expect nothing less than that from Frost, but let me guess, NONE of you losers ever played college sports or coached any legitimate sports teams, did you? Nothing but a bunch of armchair QBs, with fat beer bellies and diabetes and carpal tunnel from spending too much time online ripping on legendary coaches along with how many other ridiculous causes?

Narcissist maybe? It is a mental condition where someone has an inflated sense of importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration.

Dude, it's not narcissism when all I am doing is posting FACTUAL information. Facts can't be narcissist. Sorry you feel so threatened by simple facts, lol.

4-8-1 against UW, OSU, UMD. (37-39 in goals only bc they had ENG in 3 of the 4 wins) That's a bubble team. Like that one season everyone was all mad Princeton beat out Bemidji State bc they were like 1-7 or whatever against UM and UW.

If I wanted admiration, I'd go around kissing people's arses like some of you do. I'd much prefer to be hated by all the ignorant losers of the world. And if my merely posting Substantive posts generates lots of attention, that has nothing to do with my "needing" it, it has more to do with my simply being able to naturally generate it. Something to do with a high IQ and a propensity to go against the flow. And the so-called inflated sense of importance you claim I have, is ridiculous, since I am more than willing to admit that what is posted here is completely and totally insignificant in any way to anyone's real lives.

Confirmed Narcissist - got it. And your goal of being hated is successful. Congrats! Now, let go of the anger and enjoy yourself.

Hey MORON, isn't 13 games out of 20 like OVER 60%??? Name me a team outside of UW & OSU that played even HALF as many games vs Top 6 ranked opponents. And if you can name someone, how many wins or ties did they get?

2-0 by a margin of 6 goals to 3 vs UMD.

Outscored OSU in 6 matchups. Only ONCE did OSU beat UMn by more than 1 goal(a 2 goal win), while UMN garnered a 4-0 pummeling and a 7-4 pummeling of OSU.

A 1 goal loss and a tie in their last matchup vs Wisconsin.

That all SCREAMS "most potential to upset either OSU or UW in the NCAA tourney", 2 of the Top 3 teams in the nation. Nothing bubble about any of that.

If this was the old BCS cfb system where only 2 teams got a shot at the title, then, and ONLY THEN, would UMn's going 4-8-1 vs Top 6 ranked teams be a legitimate argument of anything.

Even in the modern 4 team CFP system, UMn's going 4-8-1 vs Top 6 ranked teams could exclude them, but it wouldn't be absolute. But in an 8 team tourney, it's ridiculous to try to claim it as a negative seeing as 95% of the rest of Women's college hockey never played a single Top 6 ranked team, much less playing 60% of their games vs them.

Lot of work to say they weren't very good. Like I said, the only story here is the oddness of the teams selected above them, not that they got left out. You're forgetting a bunch of ENG too.

If you're going to play the tough schedule card you're still putting SLU and Clarkson in above Min, who didn't play any easy teams.

You can't be serious? Can you be? UMn played THIRTEEN fucking games vs Top 6 ranked opponents, over 60% of their games, did SLU or Clarkson play ANY games vs top 6 ranked opponents? Give me a break. OMG, you have to be going for sarcasm or something?

And NOT good? Who else OUTSCORED OSU, anyone? Maybe Wisconsin? Who else swept UMD? Neither UW or OSU did that. Who outscored BSU 15-2? Certainly not UMD, they only scored ONE goal against them in 2 games.

Good job, 15 goals against the worst team in the conference. Wow you swept the 4th best team in the conference. What a great NCAA tournament resume. Every ECAC team was better.

Are you blind or just stupid, 15-2 is not 16, lol. And UMD only got 1 goal vs the same team. THAT is why I mentioned it.

And yeah, we swept the 4th best team in the WCHA, and the SIXTH BEST TEAM IN THE NATION!!!!! "every ECAC team was better"??? How the hell do you figure? Dude, all I have to do is wait for the tourney to unfold, when ZERO ecac teams win the Title, or get to the Title game, and a good chance ZERO ecac teams even win a single tourney game!!! Heck, I might only need a few hours to figure out the ecac is no where near as good as the WCHA. What is the tally so far, 17 Titles to 3???

17 > 3.

Huh?

So DON'T account for historical success of Minnesota when leaving them out but DO account for historical success of Wisconsin and UMD when putting them in?
Subjectivity is BAD when it puts Minnesota out of the tournament, but GOOD when it's polls that can be cited.
I'm not advocating for UMD so I don't care what they did. Put Penn State and SLU in the tournament instead of UMD and Providence.

Which interconference games this season show the WCHA is better than the ECAC?

None, duh. But history shows us the WCHA has ALWAYS been the best conference. That's not going to change from one year to the next. I mean, it could, over a period of time, of maybe a decade or something, but not overnight like you want to believe it has, lol.

When the WCHA ends up with 2 or probably 3 teams in the Frozen Four this year, my guess is that won't prove it to you either, will it? You simply do NOT want to believe it is true, so you will refuse to acknowledge any and all facts pointing to the obvious.

So, did the mighty ECAC's only rep in the tourney just get beat by a LOWLY WCHA team? LOL Wow, go figure!

Moral of the story is playing easier competition and bowing out of your conference tournament leaves you well rested. Also if you're Greg Fargo and your top line (sans Serdachny) plays about 19 mins a night, don't double shift them in regs and OT because they'll hit a wall and that will happen.

LOL your only conf rep LOST to a lowly WCHA team. As they usually do! Go figure!!!
