NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

If this is Doc Rivers' last game, what prevents him from close lining David Stern and beating Jeff Van Gundy to death with a metal folding chair?

You know, you really never get over the WWF.

Congrats to the Lakers on the win. It has to be tough to be a Laker and have to kiss Kobe's butt day in and day out.

The trial would be in Los Angeles and the jury would be people who live there? :p

This is a good point. Better to bide his time. Do it in Sacramento (or whatever city was on the losing end of that game that's considered the most blatantly one-sided officiating in the sport's history). The city would probably give him a medal.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

My favorite Van Gundy quote of the night was in reference to Gasol's block on Garnett in the 3rd where Gasol hits Garnett's hand and wrist and didn't even come close to the ball.

"The hand is part of the ball" LOL...:D

Next up "The arm is part of the ball...", "The head is part of the ball...", "The entire body is part of the ball..."

But at the other end it was a foul.

And to make the loss official:

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

I rather have anyone than Kobe win that trophy.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

This a boring awful game because it's low scoring, right? Or is that only the case if it's smaller markets like Detroit and San Antonio but it's OK if it's bigger ones?
This is a good point. If this were Orlando/Denver the media would savage this series, but they have their "storylines" so they're satiated.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

I've calmed down a bit today.

Despite the fact that the game was officiated differently in the fourth than it was in the rest of the game, the C's had their chance, but they just kept missing shots.

Still, I would like to see David Stern's house nuked from orbit and the ground salted so nothing grows there again. But I'll yield to the city of Seattle.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

So Phil Jackson has 11 rings now. He is out of space on his hands. Where is he going to put the next one?
