NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Come again? I'll give him a chance, but I'll bet you he doesn't even come close to best player in the draft.
To put this another way: Flynn, part deux (good player available and picked the wrong one - good player taken one pick later by a more competent GM).

Johnson will be a starter, but it's highly unlikely he'll be a star player.

FSN keeps advertising a TWolves Town Hall Forum.

Someone should ask them why they suck so much from the GM on down.

I would but I just don't give a **** anymore. Plus my question wouldn't even get through the door.

The owner here is a big NBA fan and he's using colorful language to describe what happened with the Wolves last night.

You're fired! But before you leave, run our draft for us.

"We'd like to announce a trade...Brandon Roy to the Bulls for a crate of basketballs."

Doc Rivers has decided not to retire and will be back as the coach of the Celtics.

Honest question for the capologists out there, with Pierce opting out of his contract, why can't the Celtics sign LeBron? Wade? Bosh?

I think Pierce ends up staying, especially with Rivers being back. But who knows.

i think i've read the cap is gonna be around 54-56 million.

with pierce before he opted out, they had 6 players under contract for $63MM (paul, kg, rondo, baby, perk, wallace). remove pierce's 21.5MM and that only leaves 12-14MM for LBJ (they also have to slot their draft pick before spending that money too). that isn't even close to what they'll get.

now if rasheed and kg retire (25.1MM together).... but with Doc back KG won't quit.

Basketball even sucks in free agency compared to hockey. WTH would you make everyone wait a week to sign?

What a ridiculous dog and pony show this is. It's everything I dislike about the NBA all wrapped up into one week of ego-fellating. Awful.

One of the local radio stations is ruminating about the Heat somehow grabbing Wade, LeBron, Nowitzki, and Bosch and becoming Super Team. That would be fun. And impossible.

I can see Bosh not needing the ball but are there 3 balls on the court at once?

One of many many reasons that this is not going to happen.

But that team would bludgeon KobeJesus to death which might make it a bit more tolerable.
