Good news.
So this Gopher fan pushed a Sioux fan who was on crutches? That's no good. And then his brother says something, so another Gopher fan clocks him. Also no good. Why are people so stupid and angry?

No worries, plenty of idiots went to RRHS. Just look at the Potulny brothers and Irmen. They all went to RR, and they picked the Gophers, so there's obviously not much going on upstairs there. :D

There's a small story on this on the Star Tribune web page, and when I looked at it this morning the first two comments both blamed UND fans for being idiots and starting fights. Now, they (StarTrib) turned off the comments, probably because they don't want everyone to see what morons some Gopher fans are.

In North Dakota law, aggravated assault is a Class C felony, with a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison, unless the victim suffers permanent damage to an organ or his body, in which case aggravated assault can be charged as a Class B felony with a maximum sentence of 10 years.

The story did say that a brother of the victim (on crutches no less) 'taunted' another fan. That said the fan that did the assault is a jackarse whose actions cannot be justified and the persons posting such comments are as well. However, contrary to willy's ramblings every fanbase has dips like that.
