The game went from:
The Gophers looking like they came to sorta play, to playing very badly, to not caring, to absolute horsesh* peewee hockey (maybe).
Kangas was the sole bright spot on the team tonight. I mean, 2 PP goals, a SHG, and a mini-2-on-1? And a .907 save percentage? I'd be surprised if Patterson got the call tomorrow.

Yet if they had won and fans were cheering you'd criticize that too as being too optimisitc too soon. You are essentially Carl Gerbschmidt but in green and white instead of green and yellow.

I disagree completely. He is nowhere near as entertaining. Gerbschmidt is absolutely hillarious. The only person who approaches him here is Tyler.

I didn't ignore FB, I was out and about with friends, so I didn't get home until late last night.

Personally, as a hockey fan in general i hope UMTC actually shows up tonight so i can watch a quality hockey game. I mean dont get me wrong last nights game was amazing as a Sioux fan but it would be nice to at least see Minnesota try to win.

The obvious solution to all the Gopher's problems, is to run Lou Chia out of town. Will we hear chants at Mary Oochie like "Dump Lou Chia"? "Lou Chia doesn't even make a decent pet"?

Agreed, I think the games are a lot more fun to watch when the score is close, then one team destroying another. Also on Hammy's twitter it says Patterson gets the start tonight. Hopefully the Sioux give the start to there new goalie Aaron Dell, two new goalies in action at the wcha level.
