You forgot your history dunce. Don't forget, it was because UND had so many professional Canadian players that broke up the WIHL. And, when it comes to losing, UND has a losing record to Minnesota. count it any way you want, but you are the losers.

The WIHL broke up because Minnesota whined about it. All they do is whine when they lose. Heck, in a couple years I'm sure they'll help make the BTHC because they keep losing in the WCHA.

Actually Minnesota is one of the few reasons the BTHC doesn't have traction. Save that bile for OSU and Sconnie. :)

That's right...John Hill was there for you though...Ok, I see your point now...UND should definitely not count those games because that team last year had absolutely no leadership up in GF...Even an expert like you would probably concede that point.

It will be interesting to see how the gophs fare with the 3rd and 4th lines the Sioux put out there. This series will not be like last year IMO.

I don't think Hakstol has the personality to be a color commentator on hockey broadcasts though. He seems a bit... robotic behind the bench.

I agree with you there. We are getting outplayed and outworked. Hopefully Lucia reminds the team between periods that they're supposed to play offense, too. Anytime NoDak touches the puck, we're racing back to play defense. Ugh. That was a frustrating period for me to watch.

Anyone else think that Tony Lucia actually belongs on the first line with Schroeder and Bariball?

As I'm walking back to my car after the game there is a group of people. There is a guy on the ground laying out spread eagle and not moving. I don't know what happened, all I heard was that he hit his head on the ground. His feet were facing the arena, so unless he was walking backwards, I'd guess that he got in an argument, got punched and hit his head when he went down. No idea though. I don't know if he was a Gopher or Sioux fan.

wow, uninspired hockey by the Gophers for sure. North Dakota was not playing that well and the Gophers just decided not to show up.

Good job by the Sioux in the 2nd and 3rd periods to play hockey.

Next game will be more wide open, from Goph coaching plans.
