13-7 going to the ninth now. 12 eighth inning runs scored by the Twins in this series. I’d say Duran is getting rusty, but it has always been close enough late that he warms up.

I looked back at my first game at Wrigley. Didn’t care about either team and just went for the experience. Looking back at the box score, it was Roy Oswalt vs Greg Maddux, and Brad Lidge got the save.

I think Oakland has actually been the best team since the ASG. Though no sweeps during that.

My one game at Wrigley was a year or two before the upgrades. Ernie Banks sang the 7th inning stretch. Glad I got the “old time” experience, but did the stadium tour a couple years ago and don’t think adding video boards ruined the park. As long as the ivy and basket is there it will be Wrigley.
