And he did it because of his stupid invisible sky daddy.
Great job, Christians. Keep it up.
That is entirely too much faith in the Mariners. The expanded playoffs are the only reason we have a shot at a four way tie, but it’s too bad that they got rid of additional play-in games. Between the Jays and the three AL West teams I think we’d have a shot at a couple Game 164s under the old system.

The Mariners are Greek tragedy: the fall of the hero at the hand of destiny, led by the gods to the depths of suffering. The Mets are Shakespearean tragedy: the fall of the hero at his own hands, ensemble cast, deeply comedic.

But I haven't seen this reported anywhere else. Does anyone know? The only thing at stake is who will go to Milwaukee and who will go to Philly.

On the only play of Miguel Cabrera's first defensive appearance since '21, he recorded an unassisted putout. Then his kids helped A.J. Hinch remove him from the game.
Goosebumps.
The fact that the Twins will likely win their division with the same record as the Mariners probably has something to do with that.
In the tradition of the NFL post, these are the MLB teams that should always suck:
Expos
Mets
Padres
Braves
Indians
Brewers
Rangers
White Sox
I half-adopted the Expos as my 2nd favorite team as a kid because I loved their hats. These should live on for eternity:
