TBF, Anchorage rarely gets huge snowstorms. We typically accumulate a decent amount over time. Same thing with cold snaps, it’s usually cold just not typically brutal cold.That is interesting and almost makes sense.
Syracuse and Great Barrington snows are like that. The year we got 33 and then 28 in 3 nights in SYR GB got zero. Literally, zero. They are 200 miles apart.
