Minnesotans Arguing About the Weather IV: Niño or Niña, My Joints Stopped Trying

Watching a YouTube storm chaser out on the road in Albion, MI.

He's an eejit and I assume 75% of the current 2500 viewers are hoping, with me, he goes over a bank, as long as it's away from traffic. But I also have to say I have done at least fifty drives like this in my life, with no reason better than hockey, trim, or some hope of either, and I feel some connection with the lameness and idiocy of the driver.

We are right on the line between 8-12 and 12-15. DC shuts down for anything over 6 so we could be In It if the storm overperforms.

It will be gone in a day

Maybe. But in my experience with April snowstorms in Minnesota, even if it's in the 40s or 50s, you aren't losing almost a foot of snow in a day. Couple that with a city that probably doesn't have much of a deicing and snow removal fleet. It's going to be a mess.
