Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

Well, Kangas is back to last years form. Only a matter of time I guess. Meanwhile the red and white goaltender gave up nothing he shouldn't have.

Grats.

Minnesota will have to be a desperate team tomorrow, but somehow I doubt they will be.

I think Bennett knocked the 2nd goal in himself when he was on his belly and the puck was between his legs. I think if he just lays there still, the whistle blows and it doesn't go in. Or if he closes his legs.

Bennett did make a couple great saves in tight in the game, both saving shots @ the post when he was in in the middle of the net. They were his the best of the year.

It was irritating to see Smith puke another odd man rush out his butt that lead to the 1st rodent goal.

Please UW please do something different on the pp! UGLY.

Anyway, solid win, lets bury the rodents again tomorrow.

P

You mean that 4 on 1? That's not an odd man rush, that's a dam bursting.

Maybe not the best time to pinch at center ice?

Yep he did, I was going to post the exact same thing. When he moved his legs he bats it in himself. If he waits one more second the whistle blows and the puck doesn't go in.

Smith was out there for both goals, no suprise. He did make some nice 1 on 1 defensive stops though.

Does LaPanta wear a rug too? He either has a horrible haircut or a horrible toupe, I can't tell which.

He's actually brought it up on air before, and he says it's his real hair.

His "superawesome tv announcer" voice is something I think is fake. That can't be the way he really announces/talks.

If Kangas plays like he did against UAA, the Gophs are in this game 2-2 or so. I know, I know, Wisky isn't UAA, but Kangas made those exact same saves last weekend. As to those calling Kangas a sieve before this game, I guess I don't have much to defend with besides agree with you for the time being. He certainly didn't look as amazing tonight. If Patterson doesn't get the start tomorrow night, I'll be surprised.

Get the split Gophs.

During Bennett's days as a BU Terrier, he was known to almost flop down on the ice routinely, and was given nicknames by BU fans such as "Sir Flopsalot." My question for Badger fans is how does he look thus far? Are you guys happy with his play thus far, and also is he still "flopping'?

No water of life. Nectar of the gods: whiskey. And not even close to 50/50. I like 'em burned, but not Wisconsin-like. ;)

No open flames around here with all the paint thinner. We'll send you a can if the Badgers sweep. :D
