Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Nice job by our pitching staff to not step up at all in game 2.

We are about done unless Texas decides to sweep the Angels this weekend.

I know it was wishful thinking. Then the other horse crap signing by TR comes in. Nolasco was looking fairly decent until he gives up a bomb. Thanks TR for nothing.

You can't make this crap up.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Duffey has turned into a really nice pitcher. Man after his first start against the Jays I did not see this coming. His curve ball is filthy. I thought after Mauer hit into yet another double play in the top of the 8th with a chance to put the team ahead, it was over. It wasn't and Jepson gets yet another save.

Perkins with another good 8th as well. Go Rangers!

1 game back, 3 to play. 3 must win games against the best team in the division. This is fun!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Congrats to the Twins on having a much better season then anyone had any right to expect of them.

Now the pressure will be on next year to build on that success and not fall back to a 70 win team.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Agreed. Hopefully they move him in the offseason.
I doubt he goes anywhere. Got to give him credit though. He was on Mackey and Judd today and was asked to give one word for his second half. No excuses. Said it was unexceptable. Still not a big fan but I gained some respect for the man for not dodging any questions.

Well, long relief works too. He can be next year's JR Graham.
