Twins are 3 games back of Washington for the Grapefruit League Championship with 3 to play.

We play 2 of those 3 in DC vs WAS.

Good thing Chris Sale is scheduled to pitch against the Twins next week or they may start 0-7 instead of 1-6.

Mauer and Escobar have carried the offense so far for the Twins. Be nice if they got some help.

Starting pitching has been good so far.

74 strikeouts just short of the all-time record after 6 games. Usually when a team strikes out that much they hit balls over the fence. Not this group.

CUT MAUER! /obligatory

Mauer/Escobar, before tonight, were the only Twins with a 200+ BA. And also, before tonight, Mauer led the league in avg with RISP/2 outs. ;)

Not getting to face Twins pitching is a huge detriment to Twins hitting....er....hitting is the wrong word.....Twins at bats.
