Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Twins trying their hardest to lose a game they've dominated offensively. 12 hits! 2 runs...

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Stat of the day:

Mauer has 2 HRs since his last double. (5/1)

He only has 3 extra base hits in the month of May so far.

How is that even possible? That's 22 games with 3 extra base hits.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Come the end of the season what'll be higher:

- Daniel Murphy's (WAS) batting average
- Twins winning average

So the Twins are playing an afternoon game today. There are several school buses parked on the streets near my office (which is 5 blocks from Target Field). How badly did those kids have to act up to get forced to attend a Twins game?

I thought harsh punishment was banned from schools.
