Minnesota Twins 2010: Part IV - Thome's Quest for 600

Consider that since the All Star break Liriano is 7-0 2.22, Duensing 6-1 2.25 and Pavano 6-5 3.29. Toss in a possible Blackburn resurgence and they just might have the starting pitching to be good enough if they can avoid too many 1-2 run offensive outputs. Also the Twins have the 2nd best ERA in the AL, although I fully understand they play most of their games against the ALC. But I think the starting pitching at the top is a bit underrated at this juncture.

Even Slowey is at a respectable 3.5 since the ASG.

Jesse Crain should be in line for Rolaids Reliever of the Year if the save weren't such a BS stat...

Baseball can be goofy. Crain would never be putting out fires Guerrier would start during the first half of the season. Vice versa, more likely.

I've always been a big crain fan. But this? Even I didn't see him being this clutch. This is nothing short of incredible the run he's been on since like June 11th.

Thornton seems a little scared of Thome. No matter, time to see Valencia get some RBIs.

Okay, so he only got one. I love it when someone gets an RBI without swinging the bat.

I love Alex Rios!

Ok that last shot of the fans makes me so happy inside.
