Depends on the type of unstoppable you're thinking. Doesn't seem like they've been able to stop this little skid to the Tigers.

Red Sox claimed Matt Fox off waivers. Not sure if the Twins are going to pull him back or not. Since I don't know if that forces them to leave him on the 40 man.

Edit: Looks like he is gone, as he was removed to make room for Revere. So good luck to him on the Sox I guess.

No worries about the White Sox anymore...start tracking down the Yanks and Rays.

Well that was a painfully brainless move by the Twins front office.

It's hard to say. They took a risk, and lost. Obviously they didn't think he was good enough to protect in the first place, so take that into account.

The only reason he even was called up was a pitching emergency. I don't think they cared much.

I don't think they can pull him back. I thought moving guys off the 40-man were irrevocable waivers.

Sounds like they weren't that high on him and figured someone would claim him when they brought him up.

They know a lot more about him than we do, so if they figured it was time he had a shot in a different organization, then it probably was. At least he got the chance to showcase himself before he left. And that was a very important win that he helped the Twins get, so it was a win/win.

Someone go back to Minneapolis and ship the bats to Cleveland.

I do enjoy that Twins tv ad thanking the fans and calling Target Field the greatest venue in sports. Not sure where they got that information (fan survey!?) but it sounds cool.
