UST sweeps CSB - close game in St. Cloud though...
SMU sweeps HU - Sat could get out of hand
Olaf takes 3 of 4 from CM -comes down to goaltending.
So this Sunday should look like:
GAC 4-0 8pts
SCU 4-0 8pts
UST 4-0 8pts
SMU 3-0-1 7pts
Olaf 1-2-1 3pts
BU 1-2-1 3pts

Gustavus vs. St. Thomas - Gustavus
St. Kate's vs. St. Mary's - St. Kate's
Augsburg vs. St. Ben's - Split
Hamline vs. St. Olaf - St. Olaf
Of course, the St. Thomas - Gustavus game should be a barn burner, they usually play tight back-and-forth games with a lot of emotion. I'm also interested in the St. Mary's - St. Kate's game. St. Mary's seems to have improved some this year, but we'll see the extent of that improvement against a stronger team.

Nice Weekend for St.Mary's, taking 3 points from St. Kate. St. Mary's is the only unbeaten team left in the MIAC. Very close to being a sweep.

Its along season...We are going to see many ups and downs in the MIAC this year. Just look at some of the scores already. Look at Hamline VS St. Olaf who would have thought that Hamline would go 1-0-1 this past weekend. Then there is Bethel VS Concordia, never would have guessed that Bethel would out score Concordia 11-2. So we will see who is playing good hockey about the 3rd wek of Jan.

Awfully quiet in this thread.
Any new thoughts? GAC has a decent win last night against NCHA contender UWS. St. Kate's falls out East to a bottom feeder. St. Mary's drops two out East. St. Ben's beats Bethel, Bethel beats Scholastica, Scholastica beats Ben's. C'mon, there has to be something to talk about with this league. Maybe tonights match-up of St. Thomas vs. UWEC will give insight into how down St. Thomas is this year.

Brutal game between UST and UE. Both teams are average. I don't care who UST split with earlier, they're an inconsistent team which bodes well for other average MIAC teams.

Hamline at St. Thomas Sweep depends on what Hamline team shows up.

Saint Mary's at Bethel Sweep St. Marys could bounce back after a 5-1 loss to St. Olaf.

I think your right about St. Kates 3 pts. I think they have a few players that will be hard to control so I change my pick and say it will be a sweep for St. Kates.
