And if you were thinking of getting on the Lehigh bandwagon, stay off. They were beaten by Xavier tonight. There is plenty of room on the Ohio bandwagon, though...

6 Minnesota beat 3 La Salle to advance to the second round of the NIT. They play tonight against 2 Miami (FL).

I've come to the opinion that the gophs should aim their entire season at the NIT.

That's not true. The article says they were in class on Monday. I'm sure they don't go more than once a week anyway.

After losing Mbakwe to start the season, the NIT was realistically their only hope this season, despite winning 5 or 6 in a row right after he went down.

Gophers take out Mid Tennessee. Next up the 1 seed Washington on the 27th at MSG.

5 UMass / 3 Stanford is the other matchup.

'Cuse advances to the elite 8. Barely, but they do it. I hope they keep it going, but I'm getting the feeling they won't make it to the final.

For some reason I've always liked Rick Pitino, even when he was at Kentucky. I have no idea why. He's probably as shady as a $3 bill, but for some reason he doesn't rub me the wrong way like other crooked coaches do.
