First second third, who cares, you claim to have gone to Maine, you claim to have ties to the program, yet you take a cheap shot at kid who has been injured. Why couldn't you defend Dereks honor without taking a shot at Kelen?

I kinda agree with you... but for the most part, people see the red chicklets and ASSUME, like junior high schoolers, that whatever he says is worthless.... and they dis him.
People HATE a KnowItAll, whether he or she is right or not.
The guy can say that Kerluke was looking at goalies at a tournament in Marlboro and jcarter will tell him that he is just plain wrong, PatMan, UMLGOon the weatherman and their sidekick will all gang up together and poo poo him, FSteve Mav and Collar3 will have something stupid to interject about cheating or pedophilia, 3 random posters will correct the spelling of Marlborough and the shut in from Wisconsin will also have some dum thing to say... after all that Priceless will call Hokydad the troll

I am voting this one for hall of fame.

Disagree with the first statement (imo) but you finished strong. :D imo, of course. But, imo, HockeyDAD has it all coming.

good point. more towards coaching staff for driving a quality kid away for nepotism. at the end of the day, Maine is a lesser program for it

Saw this thread got bumped to the top of the board. I read through about 3 pages, and said "eff it."

So I'll just ask: Is there a new recruit? Or should we create a new thread for hokydad?

Yeah, I would like to know if anyone has seen any of our incoming recruits play. Recruiting is the lifeblood of the program, so Tim and Co. have a lot riding on these kids. Hokydad has his point of view; he may or may not be correct. I don't know, but I'd like to hear some evaluative summations of the recruits. In particular, I'd like to hear what people think about Cam Brown and Stuart Higgins. The latter concerns me. He lit it up for Compuware a few years ago, but his stats have been less than impressive in the USHL. He has accrued very few points, and he has a poor +/-.

The coaches kid came in 2 years ago and as far as I know Tim honored his Scholarship even though he couldn't play. I don't see how he has anything to do with whether or not Arnold came to UMaine
