So he is teammates with Shawn's son who is becoming this weeks youtube sensation.

I know Shawn has roots at Michigan State and Ron Mason is Travis' grandfather...but there's something about him not coming to Maine that makes me sad. :(

Perhaps he didnt need to live with the distractions, expectations or pressures that might come with being the son of the programs' deceased hero....which i can understand...but still....what an emotional lift he could have brought to the team and fans.

Me too. :(

We don't know everything about his recruitment (or non-recruitment).......but I'm sure that there was a lot of pressure on him to sign with Michigan State.

what I saw him doing at the point on the PP was INFINITELY better than Abbott... his hands looked as soft as Leveille's and his ability to rush to the net from the high slot looked like Teddy. (this was only one game, I know, but he looked pretty special... quarterbacking the top PP in his very first game as a freshman)

UML is a "Hockey East" team in name only right now.There are probably dozens and dozens of freshman in the nation that could crack the 'Hawks top two lines.I certainly have nothing against the kid,but The Second Coming you projected him to be..?

Ummm,not so far,clearly.

I have to agree here. If he headed to Maine did something really special and got Maine back to national prominence, boy that would have been something. I don't think anyone could have rooted against something like that. But as others have said, I understand why he's going where he's going.

Heck of a goal there too, I wonder if gscott is coaching his team how to score like that! ;)

That simply shows how ignorant you are, in the true definition of ignorant.

If that is the case, outside 1/2 players tops, every kid at BC/BU and about 10 other top programs could crack the top two lines at Maine. Lowell is having an off year and is not a top program in Hockey east now, has had some very good success in the past few eyars. was though decimated by early departures last year.

Never said Arnold was the second coming. Simply said he would ahve helped Maine and it was a mistake to drive him away. Have not spoken to him in probably 4 or 5 years and have zero relationship. do though know what a good player is and do know a player that would help Maine. He is and would ahve been one.

Better than any freshmen you brought in this year and better than anyone in your current pipeline.

Most folks with any sort of in depth connection tend to avoid outspoken statements concerning the team on public forums.

I don't think Walrus is actually Grant...
I don't think acs is actually Corkum...

Point being, care to enlighten us on what your expert connections are to the Maine program?

i try to not stay outspoken comments on program
didnt like sadie slamming arnold for no reason outside she doesnt like me
if you want i will email you other stuff.
