Well coached...chit I coulda coached that team to a NC.....just let 'em play and have Montgomery do all the woik. :) They alll knew they were winning it all the first time they stepped on the ice with Pauley.

Just like we knew we were going to win it the year before.

Sully (Leafs) and Ouellette (Blue Jackets) both going to NHL development camps. Maybe they'll learn something. Fingers crossed.

Like I said they were well coached...talent does not always win,you have to have someone behind the bench to handle the situations that always come up,and if you don't believe me...just check out the team the last 6 years...

Re: Maine 2011 Offseason #2: Wondering If We'll Outdraw Women's Hoops This Year

Rachel Lenzi reporting that defenseman Mark Nemec will be attending Chicago's prospect camp July 7 - 11 in Chicago. Here's a player who has worked very hard and came to Maine very much unheralded. He needs to work on his speed to go with his work ethic. Also, a very good student majoring in mechanical engineering.

From what I've read Ouellette didn't impress at the Blue Jackets camp although it was just message board banter so who knows. On another note did Ouellette wear this helmet last year I don't remember it if he did? http://www.flickr.com/photos/ohiofamily/5894830193/in/set-72157626955429497

I've said it before ,I think Ouellette has alot of upside to offer, but he seems not to be focused for 60 minutes...which is too bad...I would say this is a make or break year for him...Ouellette along with Sullivan need to be whole lot consistant this season for Maine to have any chance...especially if some people think the D will be susupect and the O down form the last couple of years...goaltending needs to be the strong forte for 2011-12 season...imo.

If the D gets any more "suspect",even Tim Thomas himself would have a GAA of 5 and change for Maine.

Would like to think otherwise, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be another lousy season for the Bears.I just don't see any reason to look for any improvement in the W/L department. In fact, their record will be sub-.500,IMO.

You just can't win with 3 #3 goalies and a porous D.

I "HOPE" we are both wrong, but I'll wait and see till after camp and say 10 games into the season...but for sure I am not optimistic to say the least. Things can be done...but we will have to wait and see if it happens next spring.

Come On Guys. We're talking about development here. I have no doubt that Coach Whitehead will teach our players what they need to know to improve and develop.

I believe we will be just fine!

Go Black Bears!!!!!

I see that Mike Lundin signed with the Minnesota Wild today. I'm surprised Tampa didn't keep him.

Big Papa has got to be whitehead! Only Tim or a kid could make some of these statements!

Wait. I thought I was Whitehead? Or am I Kerluke? I get so confused.
