Here's something from an NCAA press release from a couple of years ago. this is a regular season record, and I think Plattsburgh also set the playoff record that same year....
" Plattsburgh recently set a Division III women's regular-season attendance record of 1,736 fans who witnessed a 4-1 win over two-time defending champion Middlebury on Feb. 8. The game coincided with a "Stuff Stafford" marketing campaign, challenging the community to be part of history as the top two teams in Division III women's hockey battled at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena. The crowd size also nearly doubled the previous school record. "
UWRF brought a pretty rowdy bunch to the FF at Middlebury last year. They actually put the Middlebury faithful to shame in the 3rd place game.
...umh..Hampster, remember that Midd was on March break then? Poor timing for a NCAA Championship in the woods for sure -- you could hear the sap dripping, and if you hadn't a been there -- you wouldn't have heard any trees falling. The place echoed, and I loved the UWRF fans' energy -- they arrived in one Saturn and a overstuffed van, and about 30 kids spilled out of it like the clown car at a Ringling Bros. circus -- no money, no place to stay -- but amazing spirit, and I think the kids left on campus found them some nourishment, pillows & racks and gas money to get back.UWRF brought a pretty rowdy bunch to the FF at Middlebury last year. Does anyone have a comprehensive list of which D3 teams carry their home games via webcast on either fasthockey or a local provider. I see Utica & Elmira do but it doesn't appear that say Plattsburgh does.
Melanie Salatino had 61 points her freshmen year at UW-Superior and then transferred to MSU mankato where she had 18, 26, 19 her last 3 years.
What year was she a freshmen at UWS?
Ummm.....are you looking for a quantitative or a qualitative response?Who has the best student body support of the DIII schools

Don't pick on the Middlebury faithful, I thought the UWRF crowd put all the other groups to shame.
