Incredibly Dull Boring 2022 Pairwise and Tournament Possibilites Thread

Rumors circulating that it is going to be called a No Goal in Mankato.

Harvard wins in OT.

Ohio State done.

Northeastern fully on pins and needles now.

eh, good for Harvard I guess. Beating Clarkson and QU was impressive and more deserving to make it over Ohio State.

What I want to know is where everyone went? Players still around? Did they have to call back the team buses? What about all of that? And, the fans....????

Situation has to favor BSU now, right?

I'm guessing many of the fans don't even know yet.

Absolutely bizarre situation.

CCHA posted an Official Statement. Apparently, the goal was immediately reviewed and determined to be a good goal. Then they found new angles that showed that the net was elevated and they reviewed it again with the new angles and determined it was not a good goal.

FWIW, I have not seen a replay from any angle that supported it was a good goal.

In any event, game on!

Well, at least they took a real look at all the angles, and made the right call. It would have been really bad to end BSU's season on a no-goal

And, this site's scoreboard is down, and the other site's hasn't reopened the game yet. I might follow on BSU's twitter...

I'm blanking on the teams, but late 80's / early 90's era national title game that there was a controversial play where it looked like the team may have scored, but it was ruled a no-goal. Game either finished in OT or was a 1-goal nailbiter.

Maybe they can go back and review it again? : p
