Man, you talk about "the right stuff," Armstrong had it in spades. I'm sure we'll be hearing again the last few moments of the Eagle's descent on to the moon. Armstrong took it out of auto-pilot. And in the background you can hear a guy in Mission Control counting down how much time he had left before they ran out of fuel and had to abort or crashed. He goosed that puppy over some rocks and headed toward a more hospitable landing spot.

Remember? After they landed, Mission Control said something like "you've got a bunch of guys here about to turn blue." That's why we wanted hot shot jet jockeys up there. RIP Neil Armstrong. Well done.

Wow. Dragged the person to his cache site? That's odd. Grizzlies typically aren't interested in eating humans unless they're desperate. The most common ways to get attacked by one are mess with its cubs (stupid) or run away (grizzlies have an instinctive chase response, and they can haul much more *** than you can.)

I was on the bus tour of Denali last weekend with my family and spotted two of them.

Yeah it seems like unusual bear activity all around. I did a bus tour 2 springs ago. Only saw one, but it was early in the season and most of the park hadn't opened yet.

One of my co-workers told me there was a rumor going around that Bill Cosby died. Did anyone else hear/see it? It's not true.
