How about a baker's dozen, Buckentine? Minnesota at Michigan Tech, November 19-20

Re: How about a baker's dozen, Buckentine? Minnesota at Michigan Tech, November 19-20

Look at it this way...

A pasty is a glorified meat pie/Hot Pocket
A Philly Cheesesteak is a glorified sub/grinder
The jucy lucy is a glorified cheeseburger

It's not that hard to understand. Naturally, if you dare to say these things aren't as great as the locals think, you're going to tick people off. :p

What would it cost for the Gophers to agree to just cancel the second period?

maybe we could just call it something else. like how hotels have no 13th floor. its just 11, 12, 14, 15. the second period could be called the first period part the deux or something, then we could score two more goals.

You know what is worse than pasties? Beef Stew.

Re: How about a baker's dozen, Buckentine? Minnesota at Michigan Tech, November 19-20

don't forget !!

Everyone is invited to attend a Blue Line Luncheon on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19th at noon in the Begg Conference Room at the Grant Educational Center, Student Development Complex, to hear from Coach Jamie Russell on how the season is going. Cost is $8.00 for members and $8.50 for non-members. The menu is: beef stew, mashed potatoes, tossed salad, crusty rolls, fruit, and apple pie ala mode.

assume "everyone" means even the Gopher fans! ;):)
Let me get this straight. You pay extra for your Blue Line Club membership and all you get is 50 cents off beef stew?

Better than eating a pasty.

Man, does anything better demonstrate the depths to which these two programs have sunk? We're arguing about beef stew, pasties and blue line club luncheons...:(

No debate over who has the best freshmen, best goalie, best coach, best skating treadmill, it's beef stew versus the Jax buffet...

I weep.:(

Hockey talk doesn't start until Friday.

I'd be more inclined to talk about hockey if Tech didn't believe that hockey magically turned into ultimate fighting after you have a 2 goal lead.
