oops! I thought the Gophers had stopped doing Blue Line Luncheons. we attended one years ago and it was something. white table clothes, engraved matchbooks, giveaways and lots of good food.

let's get off the food. the sound of beef stew is a bit nauseating this time of day.

so, how is tDon's hair looking these days? back in the day it was the best. today, in a head to head (ha ha, a pun) competition I'd give our coach the edge.

I like beef stew, but I would generally prefer the Jax buffet (though it's been a couple years since I've gone).

Last year they tried doing them on Thursday which was easier for the coach, but really stupid for most of us fans. The luncheons are no where near as much fun since the visiting coaches stopped attending. I think it was Dahl who started that trend as he was scheduled and failed to show once. The most fun was when one of the Serratore brothers would speak, they're hilarious. :(

I'll use it no matter what. When we sweep, or if by the miracle of all things unholy we don't, I can use it after I declare shenanigans.

I have to ask. aren't there rules on when shenanigans are declared?

One must declare shenanigans. It then must be seconded. The offending party can accept this declaration of shenanigans, and then shenanigans ensues. If the offending party refuses the declaration, the neutral party (in this case, MNS, since technically he's still a Sioux fan) can over-ride the refusal and enact shenanigans.

Then everyone gets their brooms.

You can't call shenanigans. You must declare shenanigans. It's in the fine print. Therefore, any declaration of shenanigans from MTU fans is now null and void.

I'll declare that i'm glad i'm not going to houghton because I'll have more fun going to the joe nichols concert with a lady friend and killing deer the rest of the weekend. How's that for a declaration?

I have 4 tickets. The lady friend has been invited for about a month and a half. ;)
My sister and a friend are taking my other 2 tickets and it sounds like she doesn't want to drink, yay a dd!
