Updating a previous post....

I have successfully convinced the First Lady to buy her first pair of ugg boots:cool:

Out of all the possibilities it took a Rangers/Sabres bet to finally win her over. I bet her if the Rangers beat the Sabres on Dec. 7th that she'd have to buy them if she could find some she liked. If the Sabres beat the Rangers, I'd never be able to bother her about it again.

Well...a 2-1 Rangers win later and the First Lady surprised me by showing up in uggs last night.

Bring on the snow!:D

He's an SCSU grad, too. In Mpls, there used to be a billboard that read, "St. Cloud Proud," and it was a pic of Sven. I wonder if the play on words was intentional or not. You never know with that school.

This explains everything. With having to find a decent woman in St. Cloud, it's amazing more gay weathermen don't come out of SCSU.:p

#1---I had no choice, I lost the bet. So, reluctantly I bought them.

#2---You ruined my surprise. *******.

#3---I still never said I LIKED them, and they are certainly not worth the price they get for them.

Looks like I got the hell out of Minneapolis just in time. The drive to Ann Arbor wasn't nearly as bad as predicted, since the temps were close enough to freezing that none of the rain turned into ice on the highway.

A couple of my friends said it was pretty brutal yesterday, on their drive from Mpls to the Michigan thumb.


And it's officially slick as goose * on the roads in MSP.

Yeah, I was getting text updates from MNS last night on his way to either WI or Chi-town (don't know which one he was going to). He saw a rollover (prob no one lived :( by the Dells), and roads were bad.

And I told you that a few hours ago!

At least we aren't Twitch, stranded for 15+ hours at O'Hare....:eek: (he missed his connecting flight due to the weather)

Who says you can't drink the whole way if you're driving? And in this weather, it's better to have something to drink after you've gone in the ditch.:)
