Got a few inches of snow. Am going to attempt to brave the elements and head to work. There's no wind, and the snow doesn't seem to be falling anymore, but I could be hallucinating from the pressure of dealing with this weather phenomenon. My trek will be long, and very time-consuming. Hope to make it home tonight.

100 miles north of me has gotten close to 2 feet of snow in the last 2 days, snowmobilers will be heading north on Saturday by the thousands

I am in Eau Claire Wisconsin visiting relatives, they say we have six inches so far.

It is not snowing right now, but more is coming. Wish I was in Duluth right now, they have a blizzard warning. It would be like the Thunderblizzard 07

Our 16 inches from Saturday is supposedly down to 7 now, and it has turned ugly shades of grey. Tomorrow we are supposed to get ice in the morning and then a deluge of rain as it gets warmer.

Maybe I should park my car outside so it gets clean. (Probably wouldn't work because cars passing would spray it.

We have rain right now. Supposed to get nasty later this afternoon with an ugly looking line of severe thunderstorms heading our way. We are under a tornado warning right now.

Snow has started again in Duluth. Heavy, heavy snow.

And the Plow Guy gave me an early Christmas present: a three foot snowbank at the end of the alley. I had to get the Blazer up to 30mph to achieve successful ramming speed.

Other than that, Mrs. Plante26 and I have enough booze and food to keep us happy until Sunday if necessary. Now if I can only get her to watch Skinemax with me later.......:D

Getting enough of that booze her should help with that endeavor.

Snowing here, but not heavy. We might have seven to eight inches at this point. Enough to make many people go 10 mph down the effing street, evidently. :mad:

Hour 24: still in wave 2 of the Snowstorm Of The Century Of The Week. Made it home (obviously) but it was dangerous. This morning I had to drift-bust on about half the roads I used. Saw a few giant orange machines which frightened me, since I do not know if they are good or evil. They appeared to be clearing out the snow, so I figured if I left them alone, they'd leave me alone.

Tonight the roads were a bit slippery, lost some traction at points, but managed to arrive safely. It's a barren town out there right now, and any people who venture out will probably never be seen again, I'm afraid.
