In a house I used to live in, we were the only driveway on the block, so of course the snow piled up when the plow went past. If my '89 Corsica (4 cyl) can plow through snow that was over the bumper, I think your Altima could make it. Might take 2-3 tries, but I bet you could do it, with no damage to your car.

Hour 6: Wind died down. It's really coming down now. The weather Nazis might be right for once. I should pack an emergency kit in my vehicle for my 9 mile commute tomorrow, just in case.

Trying to get into my driveway after the plows had come through for the last meaningful snowfall a couple weeks back, my car got high-spotted. I have a rather short driveway, so it's not like I can work up a HUGE amount of speed in order to get through the tough spots.

When I got in at 10:00, I'd spent 30 minutes shoveling my entire driveway. Given how heavy this snow is (moist and heavy), that should tell you how small the driveway is.

Good point. My driveway at the time was just over two car-lengths. Of course, nowadays, I heart underground parking. :D

This is a pretty decent snowstorm, to be honest. Has potential. Hasn't been realized, of course, but the elements are there.

No sign up necessary. Just showing up and boozing (and not p*ssing off my cousins Katy and Alyson) usually suffices. My former Bengal cheerleader cousin is currently dating a guy who showed up at the county bar last year wearing those metrosexual pointy shoes with hipster tight nut hugger jeans and a D&G t-shirt.....which would have been OK, but then he declined to do a round of shots bought by Katy. He has henceforth been blacklisted.....everyone is REALLY nice to him when forced to interact. I don't see the relationship lasting due to this schism.

Who turns down a free drink? (Though, to be fair, I did turn down a tequila shot from Yager, but it was just after last call and I was plenty drunk enough, and didn't want to make FM spend the night holding my hair back. In any other situation, MAN UP.)

Here comes the sad part: The shots were Slippery Nipples. He ruined his chance to join the Upper Midwest's Coolest Family over refusing a p*ssy shot.:mad:

Before that, I dare say he had potential. Now? Toast.

The only things I've turned down are shots of whiskey, straight Jag, and anything with Southern Comfort in it...Or more recently, when I've had to drive...

It takes a lot of arm twisting to get me to do a shot of Sambuca and even though I don't take whiskey shots, I've done a Jack Daniels shot...That one was rough.

I'll happily take shots of Goldschlager, Aftershock, and Rumplemintz, and dead Nazis.

Four or five inches so far up here in Crapids. In other words, just enough that you have to work a little harder to walk, and that is about it. I MISS MY TRUCK!!
