If they find the people doing this it should be treated no differently than violent extremism. Bring on the hard time with terrorism charges

So now we have substations in Washington state vandalized. Same group as NC? Copycats, domestic terrorists, idiots etc?? No matter what, its not a good thing.

Probably a bit of copycat. The area affected is southeast of Tacoma in the *banjo music plays* area of Pierce County. The kind of area where people would be PO’d about “immoral” stuff going on in Tacoma but too stupid to actually do anything about it.

The same kind of people who think drag shows are "immoral?"

Today I learned the US IC has a seal and a motto. And it is really unfortunate.

I have TSA and Clear...they don't nag us now. I never have to take shoes off or pull anything out of my bag. Its friggin glorious. If you travel more than a couple times a year it is worth every penny.

Vegas is doing the prototype for the self service rather soon. Vegas is already one of the easiest airports to go through if you have Clear and Precheck so I look forward to it. New Orleans is the most organized though as they have lanes set up for every level and it moves very efficiently. Minneapolis/St. Paul has issues but they are getting better.

The fact we still have this crap in place though is so annoying. I wouldn't even cal lit performative theater anymore it is just lazy and dumb.

Wait, why LAS? I honestly thought that airport was pretty damn good given the heavy load* of people going through Sunday at prime travel time. Moved as quick as MSP has ever moved. Security and check in were fast. Plenty of seats. Somewhat decent layout.

Anyways, Vegas is an interesting choice to pilot this in...

*the national finals rodeo ended Saturday and everyone flew home Sunday - it was more people than you'd honestly believe in town for this. I've never seen so many cowboy hats in a single place at one time.

….or even once in a lifetime to Orlando. Half the travelers are old and slow, half are clueless once-in-a-lifetime fliers with 6 kids, and 1/3 are foreign tourists with marginal English. Do not, under any circumstances, get in the regular TSA line. Save yourself some time - rent a car and drive home.

Orlando was still the single worst fucking hellhole of an airport I have ever been to. I can't believe just how bad it was.

Beyond the problems you listed (and I think understated) these geniuses scheduled FIVE aircraft to depart within 30 minutes of each other at the same end of a cul-de-sac terminal. There were enough seats for maybe half of one of those planes. It was the most claustrophobic I've ever felt from people.

My guess is they were going to redo the Clear Line anyways and so the new system woukd be easy to move in. They are also going to do facial rec for Clear instead of eyes or fingerprints.

Indianapolis is a crap airport...especially coming in at night internationally with a connection flight.
