I will be the only Minnesotan who says this I'm sure. Jucy Lucys are HORRIBLY overrated. They are a greasy, gloppy mess. Give me a nice slice of pepperjack, american, or some other burger-friendly cheese on top and it's that much better. Infinitely better. That said, I'm not unopposed to it. :D

Scarlet, I e-mailed you too with some info. There are a couple of nice restaurants in the Galleria that's attached to the Westin - the Good Earth and Kozy's. Pretty close by is Ciao Bella. McCormick and Schick's is on the ground floor of the Westin for seafood. If you want to drive a short distance, I'd say go up France Avenue to the 50th street district (what passes for a downtown in Edina) and to the Edina Grill or Salut. I sent my e-mail address if you want any more guidance on that.

The Napa Valley Grill at the big mall is pretty good too, it's probably a 10-15 minute drive from Edina. Of course, Scarlet, you'd have to go to a mall and I'm not sure you woud like that. :)

There's a deep-fried bacon-wrapped Jucy Lucy at Smalley's, I thought. That would be perfect for Fri before or after the Twins game.

We'll be carpooling from Duluth Friday afternoon. So that may not work out.

It is at Hubert's, right next to Target Field. Jucy Lucy, wrapped in bacon, beer battered, deep fried, served on Texas toast. It is very tasty, and also probably about 8500 calories.

If diva wants a juicy, we should really find the time to take her to Matt's Bar.
